The humans have been taking me to a groomer every few weeks. That’s cause I try to bite them when they attack me with wire brushes or shampoo. Finally they gave up.
Yesterday my mom put me and Arrow in the car and I figured we were going to some place fun. No. Not me. I get out at the washing place and Arrow stays in the car!
In the bath place I got so nervous I stood there shaking. As the lady who washes me carried me away, I heard my mom say: “I’M TAKING ARROW TO THE DOG PARK!!!! Call me when Deefor’s done.” I couldn’t believe it.
I’m getting washed and brushed while he’s rolling in mud puddles. I’m getting tortured and he’s running around playing. I am way too clean.
I look like a puff ball and he looks like a mud
ball.
Tonight my humans took us to a park for a picnic. Arrow went in the water a little. We wanted to chase some geese and pelicans but we were tied up. But we got cheeseburgers from the grill! A yummy treat but they wouldn’t let us eat the paper they were on for dessert.
Happy Fourth of July to everyone. From me and Arrow. Another day of scary fireworks. Hold your ears.

You poor poor thing! I can't believe your hoomans would be sooo mean to do that to you! But at least you get to go to the dog park & eat a hamburger. Yum!

That is TOTALLY unfair treatment, why are our brothers such brats and always getting better treatment than us?!

Deefor, that's so unfair! You get tortured and then they won't let you roll around in stinky stuff to get that perfumy smell off of you. I can sympathize. Mommy takes me to get stripped- they pull my hair out!!!- and then I can't go to the beach or the dog run because she "wants to me stay clean as long as possible." Double punishment.
Hmmm, just thinking about this makes me want to go chew on her favorite sandals...
