Canine-sumer Reports

When dogs got sick and some died from dog food with stuff from China in it, I wondered what all the doggies IN China were eating. I did some research. Many dogs in China have it bad. Some were being used for fur coats. Some were being eaten by humans. Many were killed in terrible ways. It’s too awful to talk about. I was sad. Then I got mad.

I don’t want to have doggie stuff from a country that treats my brothers and sisters like that. Besides, when you have a yellow bowl full of water, it feels like you're drinking pee.

I found some things I like that are NOT from China:

My best leash. Lupine Collars and Leashes in New Hampshire made it and guarantees to replace it if it gets chewed up. I have my own Canine-sumer laboratory. Arrow is the main tester. He has never chewed through these leashes. (Not that he hasn’t tried.) Also they are cute.

These are Zuke’s treats from Colorado. Salmon is my fave. Very yummy and smelly.

My doggie bed, made in Montana by West Paw Designs.

It doubles as a yoga mat!

Treatco Premium Savory Steak Biscuits. So delicious that humans are jealous!

I like my Kong filled with peanut butter or chewy treats. Love my two Cuz-es. (One is missing.) And giant smoked chews from Texas.

If you have good stuff that is not from a place that hurts doggies—tell us.
(p.s. I'd like to thank Arrow for modeling. He has been over-compensated in treats.)

Oh my, pictures are not showing up. Oh yeah, my mommy & I don't like China that much eventho it is somewhat a bootiful country. It's terrible there especially the things they eat. They are poor people & they will eat anything even people's pet dogs & cats. My whole family is very anti-fur especially my mommy. If she sees another hooman wearing a fur coat, she gets sick! All in the name of fashion...It's very sad!

Hi Amber,
Thanks. My owner mom put in pictures but now there are little squares!? Does anyone know how to fix this? She is not too good with the computer.

I feel bad for the Chinese people. Here in the U.S. almost everything comes from China.

Hmmm, i have no idea why the pics are not showing up. The only reason why pics won't turn up is when the line or blogger is slow or the pics are too large.

We love love love zukes treats. We are so thankful that Cuz are not made in China because I would not be able to survive without Cuz. We used to eat Nutro food but then Mom switched us to Canidae after she found out the chinese meanies were trying to kill us.

Hi, Deefor
Thanks to Arrow for his modeling job in this post!
One day my mom found some treats that look yummy at a store here but when she read they were from China she said "no way". Better no treats than get sick. We also have read terrible things about doggies there and its very sad. Sure we are lucky!
Have a good night

Hey Deefor, My bowls were made by my grandma. She meant to make them for the people in the house, but the people in the house think they are to nice for them and so they let me use them instead.

Yes, China can be a scary place for dogs. And sometimes people too. I have some things I like that are not made in China. Here we go:
First of all, my Snoozer Pet Products Carseat (US) is awesome. I also love my red RC Pet Products jacket (Can). For jackets, also try Teckelklub (Can), Chilly Dogs (Can), and Animal Wrappers (US). And last, but not least, my treats! I like Zukes and Wellness treats (both made in US).

Oh, and also BioBag Dog. Can't forget the TRULY biodegradable corn-based poop bags. Made in Norway.
