Swim

Today we went for a swim. I love running around in the park. It’s the Witness Protection Doggie Park. We got in trouble in some of the others, but they don’t know us here.

Arrow said hello to a nice brown doggie.

And I did too.

Arrow introduced me to a cute little shih-tzu named Max.

Arrow can be very annoying. Max was too polite to tell Arrow off.

And in the end. Failure. Growlure. Shame. Back on the leash while Arrow frolicked with the big guy.

I'm interested in this protection program. Will it get us off the hook when we eat furniture? ;)

Deefor,
You poor little chap. My estate is like a doggie witness protection program all by itself since I tend to "react" badly to other doggies. Sheesh. They should just leave us be, am I right?

Hey Deefor,
Wow, you were actually swimming? I'm impressed! I just stand around in the water.
Don't think of it as failure, man. It's more of a "relapse." And relapses are part of recovery. Just take it one day at a time.

Hi Deefor,

The video I posted on my blog is more about how breeders try to breed dogs to match the breed standard as documented by the Kennel Club and this has resulted in causing these pedigree dogs to have some health problem.

The documentary also feature a case of a show dog who won the best of breed even when everyone from the Kennel club knew that this dog has be diagnosed to be carrying this genetic health condition but being the Best of Breed, he is breeding and the genetic health issues was pass on to his off spring.

The documentary also mentioned about breeders doing inbreeding as they claim that they wanted to perfect the breed standard and thought that its the right things to do. Kennel clubs even register these inbred puppies.

Now, Pedigree dogs with Kennel Club cert doesn't guarantee that the dogs are of good quality and free from genetic health issues cos the breeders are only concern about producing puppies that match the breed standard set by the Kennel Club.

I think you should try to watch the video as awareness is the best cure.

Luv
Snowball
