Rehab
I’m not a Therapy Doggie. I’m in doggie therapy. My humans have been taking me to the doggie park to help me get used to being with other doggies-- without growling and fighting. I’m getting better.
Sometimes I growl a little but I stop. Today there were a lot of doggies there. Some of the bigger ones were attacking my mom cause she had treats in her pockets. (She won’t do that again.) She always forgets to bring the camera.
Mostly Arrow runs around. Sometimes he humps and barks. Makes me look like the good doggie.

Kissing Wars
I've always been the Kisser-in-Chief at my house. My bearded owner says, “Gimme kisses,” and I’m right there. He tastes pretty good. And he lets me bite his nose. Gently.
Arrow likes to lick the bearded one’s pillow. Now Arrow started licking his hair. He says, the hair tastes even better than the pillow. (He puts smelly stuff on his hair.)
I don’t like it. One bit. Licking is my job. Bad enough fighting over bones. Sharing my bed and my stuff.
Here’s a picture of Arrow after a walk in the rain. He’s drying his giant ears and head on the couch.
P.S. I liked reading all the comments about names on my last post. I was surprised how many of my doggie friends had different names before. Guess we’re all lucky that we found our forever homes. And forever names.

Names
Please click the Shelter Challenge button and vote for Sula Foundation in New Orleans LA. They help lots of doggies who have no homes. Even if they're sick.
I just read about how Pippa got his name. Very good story.
When I adopted my family I had a different name. I was Tony in the shelter that took me in when I was lost.
My mom changed my name. That was OK. I didn’t feel like a Tony. She named me Deefor as in D for Dog. Maybe it should be Deefer cause that’s how you say it. Not DeeFOR like at the bath and torture place. When they call me that, I always look around for another doggie with a really weird name.
Arrow came from the same place I did. Someone found him running around on the highway. Trying to hitch a ride but he was too short. He has 9 or 10 lives at least. They called him Rufus.
My mom wanted to call him Woody and my bearded owner wanted to call him Pad Foot. Arrow didn’t like those names and ignored them. The only name they agreed on was Arrow. Now I think it fits him.
There was a famous cartoon doggie named Arrow and he had giant pointy ears. Just like Arrow. Only the cartoon doggie was smarter. (Sorry about the nudity)

Bone Wars
Thank you!!! I got lots of awards from my bloggie friend. They are very sweet. And I haven't been very good about passing them around. (But I will. Promise)
We got two new giant bones. (Giant for us-- not for someone like Mango or some of my big doggie friends) Naturally we both want the same one. All the time.
I am the boss. But Arrow is sneaky. If I leave a bone, he grabs it. Sometimes he barks when I take it back.
Thanks Abby
While my humans have been way too busy, Arrow and me have been home alone. Fighting the bone wars.We got two new giant bones. (Giant for us-- not for someone like Mango or some of my big doggie friends) Naturally we both want the same one. All the time.
