Peeing-Eye Dog

Revisiting a disgusting subject—Arrow.

The Arrow never understood about only peeing outside. Finally he mostly peed upstairs on a rug. At first when we tried pee pads, he only ate them. Little by little my mom put pee pads over the disgusting rug till he started using them. Then she threw away the rug and put down tons of pee pads. First 8. Then 6. Now 4.

Yesterday, I was just sitting upstairs minding my bones when Arrow came up and missed the pee pads again! It’s still a giant area but Arrow misses a lot. Sometimes he’s half on the pad. Adding a little Eau d’Arrow to the rug. Something that really upsets my mom.

She starts thinking about getting new carpeting. But Arrow peeing on new carpeting makes her more upset. And thinking about life in some distant future without Arrow but with new carpeting makes her even more upset. (That will never happen because my humans are pretty old so Arrow and me will redecorate when they’re gone. Now I’m getting upset.)

While my mom was crying over carpets and pee pads, I came up with a solution. I have NO trouble figuring out where to pee. (OUTSIDE!) And IF I used the pee pads I would never miss.

Arrow needs a Peeing-Eye Dog and I could do the job! I’d just grab him and lead him to the middle of a pee pad. Maybe there’s a need for Peeing-Eye Doggies in other smelly houses. I bet I could train them all!

Pee S. Censorship!! I had more graphic pictures of the Arrow's misses but my mom refused to post them!

Pretty Yummy Being Green

My mom visited our little nephew again. Here he is in his art studio showing his mom his technique.

Being green. Arrow and me are saving energy. No need to vacuum the rug in the kitchen. We are quieter and do a much better job.

Especially after the messy baker mom makes pie crust! I have the crevice tool thing down.

We rested up after all that hard work.

Here's Arrow frying his brain.

P.S. To answer some questions about Arrow and the butter. He didn't get sick at all! He just had a buttery smell and a really shiny nose. Amazing since normal doggy food gives him the poops. Guess he needs to go on the butter diet.

Yummy Award

Here are the Rules...

When accepting this award, you must blog about the food you have stolen when your humans were not watching...If you have never stolen any food, you must be a really good pup!! You can accept this yummy tray of cookies as your reward! Next add the logo of this award to your Blog (optional), then nominate at least 5 other furry blogs and let them know by leaving a message on their Blogs...

I have to thank Lorenza and Yoshi and Cody for giving me this great award.

I am a “cat” burglar... slow and subtle. I don’t jump on the table when humans are looking. I wait for the right moment. I only jump on the table when no one is around.

There’s the time I found a TV dinner (you can read the full story) right on the floor one night cause my mom forgot to put away a bag of groceries! They really don’t need to be cooked. I always find stuff on the street. Chicken bones and even some sausages! And we lick cone crumbs and spilled ice cream at Lik's down the street.

IArrow will steal anything and eat it. (even socks) He ate a stick of butter left on the table after some corn last week. He didn"t get caught till he was licking the paper. And he grabbed a roll right out of a bag and ran upstairs with it. He's very good at tearing open packages. Look at that guilty face!

I'll nominate Murphy, Mona, and Sally. And of course you can help yourself-- just steal it off here!

Arrow Tuesday

Some Colorado pools invite doggies for a special pool party when they close. And Colorado doggies really know how to party!

I met Fergie, the famous pawlympic swimmer and Colorado blogger! Go visit her. (She even has pictures of me!)

Fergie was there with her own special swim coach.

I was so jealous!

My bearded owner felt bad so he took the cigarettes out of his pocket and went in with me. That’s love.

This talented little dog was catching splashes.

I checked out everything.

Made lots of new friends. (I got under the fence once but I ran back under-- why leave the pool party for the parking lot?)

Let's do this every Sunday.

Working Hard to be Green

I think we could save a lot of energy if we didn’t use our dishwasher. Me and Arrow could take care of all the dishes. Cups and glasses too. Even forks and stuff like those yummy spatulas from the grill.

We work hard. We don’t take breaks.

We do a very thorough job.

Here’s the proof. Can you tell which plate we cleaned and which one was in the dishwasher? Thought so.
